Sage CRM for iPhone and Android component
Please use this component for the latest CRM iPhone App.
Also with the latest iPhone IOS9, please upgrade CRM to 7.3 SP2 or later.

Have set iphone settings to download all contacts
I am on wifi not 3g/4g
Dont see goonline option, i assume because of aboe
Download data - whirls away for a couple of minutes and then closes, and the result - nothing - no data.

Mike, did you still having this issue? I have exactly the same error
Followed the steps below and able to connect and login, but can not download data or create calendar entries.
Installing the mobile apps component
1. Download the Sage CRM for iPhone and Android Component:
a. In your web browser, open the Sage CRM Community: https://community.sagecrm.com
b. Go to Marketplace | Sage CRM Downloads.
c. Click Sage CRM for iPhone and Android Component to download the .zip file containing the component to your computer.
2. Install the Sage CRM for iPhone and Android Component:
a. In Sage CRM, go to | Administration | Customization | Component Manager.
b. Under Add Component, specify the .zip file you downloaded in step 1c above.
c. Click Upload new component.
d. Under Available Components, click to select Enable Sage CRM for iPhone and Android, and then click Install Component.
e. On the Component Parameters, Step 1 of 2 screen, click Install Component. If prompted, confirm that you want to install the component.
f. When the component installation completes, click Continue.

Should I use this if I am using 7.3 without SP2?
Or still use this community.sagecrm.com/.../27932.aspx
Shouldn't the older components have a note or comment to clarify that a new version has been released or the version it is suitable for?
Please clarify which should be used on certain patch levels.

The relevant mobile component is sage_crm_downloads/27932.aspx. You can use this component for all the 7.3 versions.
The other 2 components are obsolete.
The steps to upload are correct. If you still can't download data, please contact your support team.
Has this component been tested and working on CRM 2018 R3? We are looking at it but are on CRM 2018 R3, so I would want to know it has successfully tested on this version.
