Log into the Sage CRM iPhone Sales Lite App with a user that was no administartion rights. Select the option on the Home page to "Update from Sage CRM".
The following error message is displayed:
An error has occurred while connecting to Sage CRM. Please contact your system administrator.
Therefore no sync happens between the iPhone and CRM.
A workaround for this issue is to give the user Admin rights but this may not be feasible as the user would gain rights to information they should not have access to.
Thsi issue has been escalated to development and will be resolved in a future version of the Sage CRM iPhone App.
Users with Admin rights sync with CRM as expected.
This only affects Sage CRM installations integrated with Sage 200.
