If a user sets the the Search SQL condition for a Advanced Search Select field, the results are not restricted by this condition.
An example of this is if a user navigates to the secondary entity "Solution Link" and selects the field Link Solution(slnk_soln_solutionid).
In this field set the Search Sql Feild condition to soln_Status='Published' (see below).
Now try to link a case to a solution using the magnifying glass.
Note it shows all the solutions (Published and unpublished solutions). It should just show the published solutions or whatever criteria was specified in the Search Sql condition.
Resolution / workaround:
Click the green arrow beside the magnifying glass and do a search for published solutions in there.
This case has been resolved in Sage CRM patch 7.2e.
