A user has a Swiftpage E-marketing account setup but instead now wants to use Mail Chimp e-mail marketing solution.


When the user tries to set up the their Mail Chimp account the following error message is shown:


Resolution / Workaround:

There is a workaround for this issue:

1. In SQL Management Studio run the following statements in the databse:

delete from EmarketingAccount

delete from EmarketingUser

update users set User_EmarketingUserID = NULL where User_EmarketingUserID is not null

2. Perform an IIS Reset and now the user should be able to create a Mail Chimp account.


Development are currently looking into away of disabling Swiftpage using the UI and this will be included in a future patch of Sage CRM 7.3
