Resolution / Workaround:

A possible workaround is to update the license key manually in the database and registry.

The license key can be found in the database here:
select * from Custom_SysParams where parm_name = 'LicenseKey'

The license key can be found in the registry here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\eWare\Config\/CRM73

Status:

This issue has been resolved in Sage CRM 7.3c.
