An error may appear in a blue notification bar when navigating to the E-Marketing tab in Sage CRM:
Your Sage E-marketing for Sage CRM is disabled. To re-enable your account please contact your system administrator
Assuming that your account is enabled, the issue may be caused by an incorrect URL in your syncengine.properties.
The syncengine.configurationurl value is configured in the syncengine.properties in the SPSyncEngine webapp. This file can be found in \CRM\tomcat\webapps\CRMSPSyncEngine\WEB-INF. The syncengine.properties can be edited in Notepad.
To resolve the issue, carry out the following:
- Open the syncengine.properties file in Notepad.
- Update the line containing your syncengine.configurationurl to ensure that this is pointing to the correct install of CRM. e.g.
- Save the file and restart the Tomcat service.
