Summary:

An issue with early patches of 7.2 where custom ASP pages with embeded URLs are not scrolling correctly on the iPad.

A simple example of such an asp page is detailed below.

Tested on iPad 4th Gen, Safari with iOS 6.1.3.

ASP code:
---------------------------------------------------------
<!-- #include file = "../sagecrm.js" -->

<%
CRM.AddContent('<div id="My_Test_Div1" style="overflow: auto; -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch">');
for (i=0; i<30; i++)
{
  CRM.AddContent("123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890<br>");
}
CRM.AddContent('</div>');
CRM.AddContent('<div id="My_Test_Div2" style="margin: 100px; width: 1000px; height: 1000px; overflow: auto; -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch">');
CRM.AddContent('<br>-----DIV-----<br>');
CRM.AddContent('<object type="text/html" data="http://www.w3schools.com/js/tryit.asp?filename=try_nav_all" style="width:100%; height:100%; margin:0;"></object></div>');
CRM.AddContent('</div>');
Response.Write(CRM.GetPage());
%>
---------------------------------------------------------

Note that touching in the plain text area ("1234567890...") and dragging up/down scrolls as expected.

Scroll down to the embeded 'w3schools' URL.

Try touching inside the URL content and scrolling. It will scroll left/right but will not properly scroll up/down.

Resolution:

This is resolved in 7.2D Patch

Workaround:

The solution was to add a -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch; style to the #EWARE_MID selector.

This is now resolved in 7.2d but you don't need to upgrade to get this, just edit these files:

WWWRoot\Themes\color1.css
WWWRoot\Themes\default.css
WWWRoot\Themes\neutral.css

Add the highlighted code:

#EWARE_MID{
overflow: auto;
    -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;
}
