Summary:

It is possible to customize which fields sync to Outlook. In CRM go to Administration -> Customization -> Translations and search for the caption code "OTL_AppointmentDetails". Open the result and change the relevant translation (e,g. US Translation) to include whichever fields you want. For example, you could add the Fax number to the company section by making the following changes:

After change:

You must then refresh the translation metadata (Administration -> System -> Metadata) and log out/log back in to the Outlook plugin for the change to take place.
