The following message may be displayed when attempting to add a recipient to an email from a user picker:
Too many records
The message will normally appear when you have a large number of active users (50+).
The search function operates as expected, however displaying the full list of user records will not be posisble, as the default limit is 50.
The following SQL can be run to allow the display of a greater number of users:
UPDATE Custom_SysParams SET Parm_Value = '100' WHERE Parm_Name = N'DropdownThreshold';
Please ensure that relevant backups have been taken prior to performing changes on a live database.
Once completed, a metadata refresh must be performed via Administration -> System -> Metadata -> Refresh All -> Execute Refresh.
If using a Cloud instance of CRM, a request to alter this parameter can be made via the Sage support desk.
