I have added to the resources section two very simple SQL scripts that can be used to help you report what new Meta Data structures have been added to an install of Sage CRM and what has been changed since a certain date.
The two scripts rely on the fact that Sage CRM is a Meta Data driven application. The majority of the changes to the application are made by altering the information in the Meta Data tables; these are the tables in the system database that are prefixed with 'custom_'. All rows entered into the Meta Data tables have a datetime stamps added to them when the meta data is first inserted or when it is subsequently updated.
I have run my scripts in the MS SQL Server Management studio to report on these changes but you can also use this idea to creating views and reports which could be run internally within Sage CRM.
DPP members can download the SQL scripts from the resources section of this site.
