Occasionally after a reset of the servers a user may get the following message when they try and access the the Interactive Dashboard.
“The Dashboard has experienced a problem. Please contact your System Administrator.”
This can be due to a delay in the initialization of the tomcat server. Wait for a few minutes and then try again.
If the Dashboard is noticeably faster within another browser like Chrome or Firefox then this will indicate that an Internet Explorer plugin is responsible.
Check what browser add-ons are installed. Some browser add-ons (e.g. Skype) may interfere with other AJAX applications by ‘hogging’ the AJAX connection pool within Internet Explorer so the Dashboard has to wait.
