To support the release of Sage CRM 2019 R1 we have created a completely new version of the example CRM Self Service demo site.

This is the first in a short series of 3 articles that discuss the new demo site:

The articles are all aimed at partners and the purpose of them is to improve the ability for all partners to explain the capabilities of the Self Service API. The new Self Service Demo site is fully responsive in design and we believe it will provide a more compelling demonstration for customers.

You can see the basic design as it appears in a desktop browser in the image below.

The new demo site has not been added to the installer yet so when you install Sage CRM 2019 R1 and opt to install the Self Service demo site then you will still get the old site. The new demo site for 2019 R1 has to be downloaded and the old demo site would need to be replaced.

You can download the new files from the folder 'General Development Resources'.  If you can't see this file then contact sagecrmteam@sage.com and ask for your community rights to be improved.

We have tried to make this a new set of easy to use example files that present a modern user interface. The file contents can be used to replace the existing demo found at

"http://localhost/crmselfservicedemo/"

The existing self-service files are by default located at

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\CRMSelfServiceDemo

Once you have downloaded the zip from the community the old files for the default demo can be removed and replaced with these ones.

The complexity of the files used in the demo site has been reduced and the code simplified to improve the experience of partners wanting to customise the demo and to demonstrate the power of the Self Service API.

The new version of the site keeps the same functionality.
