This component is designed to be run on a new install of Sage CRM. It enables a system administrator to swiftly turn off options that may not be used in the first phase of a project. If the options listed below are unchecked then different features will be suppressed. These are changes to metadata options and can be reversed by making simple changes in the system administration screens.

The component will make changes to the tab menus, the find menu, the new menu and action buttons on a summary screen.

It is assumed that you will install this component on an uncustomized system where menu options have not been changed.

You should not run this component against an instance of Sage CRM integrated with a Sage business management solution without first ensuring you understand the implications of the changes made to the system.

If the system is installed with a license that includes Sales, Marketing and Customer Service then this component will not remove all reference to those entities. If you install on a system with demo data you may find anomalies where a suppressed entity is referenced. For example, the recent list may still display cases when the customer service option is switched off using the component and there will be reports and dashboard items available.
