Sage CRM 2019 R1: Responsive Self Service Demo

This download contains a new version of the example CRM Self Service demo site that has been created for the release of Sage CRM 2019 R1.

This is a completely new version of the Self Service Demo.  It is fully responsive in design.
 

The new version of the site provides a more compelling demonstration for customers.
 
The complexity of the files used in the demo site has been reduced and the code simplified to improve the experience of partners wanting to customise the demo and to demonstrate the power of the Self Service API.  
This is a new set of easy to use example files that present a modern user interface.  The file contents can be used to replace the existing demo found at
 
"http://localhost/crmselfservicedemo/"
 
Once you have downloaded the file the existing self-service files can be removed and replaced with these ones.
 
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\CRM\CRMSelfServiceDemo

The new version of the site keeps the same functionality.

    Hi there, i tested this out on one of our demo sites and via the desktop, the pages load correctly and it looks great, however when working on an iPhone or iPad, all we got was a blank page. Not sure if that’s isolated to us or whether this has been tested on iPhone and iPad.

    OK.  Interesting.  What model of iPhone and version of iOS are you using?  I've just used an Android device running Android 8.1 "Oreo" (Go edition) and Chrome.  It displays fine.  If this still happens can you log a case?

    I would love to have some templates outside of the default files that illustrate topics similar to what Kanan is requesting/suggesting. Similar to how Jeff has walked through the various ways of customizing the various aspects of the Sage CRM system, it would be very helpful to have examples of incorporating features and functionality directly into the Self Service page. i.e. Workflow and the new responsive theme (if possible) would be amazing!

    I will be writing more about the customization of this sample demo.  BUT Self Service is an API and not a 'product'.  This is just one example of how a responsive self service site could be created.  There are lots of example responsive site designs around on the net for you to look at and use as the basis of a site design.  Please note that Self Service is focussed on visitors that correspond to contacts (persons) within CRM and some features are not available by design.  Workflow is just one feature that can not work in the same way as it assumed a 'user' session.  These design limitations of the API are discussed in some of my older articles.

    @jeff, just following on the previous question, which is the existing asp page to be edited (which one) for new navigational elements and if there is access to any documentation samples around the published self service API. I reckon pretty much most HTML5 web based controls can be used but i wanted to understand more on the UI side rather than the API side. Any suggestions you would like to share ?
