With Windows 10 and Outlook 2013 / 2016 fails with TLS 1.0 disabled. TLS 1.0 has been deprecated as of 6/30/2017 for PCI compliance.
Running SageCRM 2017-R2. Has anyone had this issue or know a work around?
TLS 1.0 disable message below.
"Crm Server returned an invalid response. Please try again. If problem persists, please contact you system administrator."
Tested on clean install of Windows 10 and Outlook 2013/2016

This issue was raised with product development in the 2017 R2 and was resolved as of the release of 2018 R1.

Just an FYI - 30 June 2018 is the deadline for disabling SSL/early TLS and implementing a more secure encryption protocol – TLS 1.1 or higher (TLS v1.2 is strongly encouraged) in order to meet the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) for safeguarding payment data. Most datacenters are moving to TLS v1.2. So this same issue is going to start happening at at PCI datacenters who also host SageCRM. You should gave engineering implement TLS 1.2 ASAP to avoid being behind.
The Use TLS for SMTP and Use TLS for SMS check boxes no longer support Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.0 and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). When selecting these check boxes, ensure that the email server to which Sage CRM connects is configured to use TLS 1.1 or 1.2.
