"Too many records" appears in campaign dropdowns (Sage CRM 7.1f)

Is there a way to increase the number of records that can appear in SSA fields ?

I tried using the following (from another article here) but its not working:

UPDATE Custom_SysParams SET Parm_Value = '100' WHERE Parm_Name = N'DropdownThreshold';

  • Is there some kind of limitations to this, I have this same request on the User Selection fields, but from what I can see making this change did not resolve this issue for me.

  • Make sure that you restart IIS if necessary.
